When In Rome
Rome had always been famous for its museums filled with paintings and statues. The city was filled with art from all ages. Today, more art was being added in the form of statues. These were not being placed in the museums, but were being created on the streets.

Medusa, the gorgon from myth, made her way down the Via del Fori Imperiali and turned the citizens and tourists to stone with her gaze.

Rome was always so beautiful this time year. Which was why Sindella loved it when Mom came there on tour. As Mom had a break in between shows, she'd decided to go out and do some shopping.

But people turning into stone? Not what she expected on her shopping trip.

Sindella heard the hissing of snakes coming from around the corner.

This...couldn't be good. Sindella ducked behind an alleyway, keeping out of sight.

	Medusa continued to move through the streets. People couldn't help but to look and as soon as they did they were turned to stone. Medusa smiled and kept moving. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Sindella quickly peered her head around the corner to see where the source of the hissing was coming from.

"Don't make eye contact," she said, muttering under her breath. "Don't make eye contact."

Sindella stepped out from behind the alleyway. "Dlofdnilb," She muttered quickly, and a red blindfold appeared around her eyes.

She cast a spell to highten her senses of sound and smell. Adjusting to her new improvements, she used her increased smell to hone in on Medusa's location.

"Gninthgil!" She said, sending a magical blast of lightning at Medusa.

	A bolt of lightning came out of the blue and struck Medusa. She stopped for a few moments as the electricity coursed through her. It made her stop for a moment, but it didn't kill her. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
