The Many Heads of the Hydra
The seven head serpent known as the Lernaean Hydra walked of Lake Michigan and on to the streets of Chicago striking out to attack people with its many mouths. As dangerous as it was the poison it was breath was causing just as much trouble.

The police were doing the best job that they could to contain the situation but they were not trained to deal with anything like this. They needed help and fast.

	Dex had been out on patrol and was flying over Chicago on his way back home when he saw the creature in the streets below. He swooped down to take a closer look. Finally a fight! (Reply to this)(Thread)

	The remaining six let out a terrible scream as it’s other head was crushed releasing some of its highly poisonous blood into the air. The other six heads started attacking with even greater furiousity to avenge the head it had lost. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The ring let Dex stay out of reach of those heads. With one head smashed, Dex started on one of the other heads. The giant green hand plowed into another head. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Flying definitely had its advantages. Dex kept well away from the heads and let the construct dissipate. He reformed it and hit the Hydra again. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Dex lifted the net and the Hydra off the ground. He flew straight up until he was out of the Earth's atmosphere. He started to swing the net around and around to launch the Hydra into space. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
