A Flight in the Night That Might Bring Delight
Well, that had been one mission to save the past she hoped quickly for forget. Traveling back to the dawn of mankind, nearly getting eaten by a dinosaur (apparently, the history books were wrong), getting stripped down to a fur bikini and nearly sacrificed to a volcano (thank goodness they kept back-up uniforms at Rip's), and, well... she really wanted to forget it all.

Fortunately, flying back to Gotham, in Riley's arms this time--she was too tired to hang onto his back--was a good distraction.

"I can't believe Rip said it was okay for Anthro to keep the jacket," Dinah said.

	"Did I now? And what exactly would you do about it if I was?" Something had slightly shifted gears in Riley's head since the Calendar Man adventure. A lot of the tension that had been building up around Dinah for some reason had shifted, if not gone away. He found it easier to tease her again. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Jump from your arms, save myself with that flagpole over there, flip up, and land on your back," Dinah replied. Dinah, herself, found her thoughts on Riley a little more often these days. 	"Oh, right. Sorry about that." Riley pitches in his flight path, arcing back towards the Kord household. Funny that Ted and Babs still settled for some little cottage in the 'burbs, what with all the Kord Industries had to offer. It was still a pretty large house, but it enabled them to stay close to the city without having to actually be in the city proper. And it was reasonably close to Michael and Bea, to boot.

Dinah swung her legs inside and climbed in, leaning back out a bit once her feet were on the floor. "Other than the almost being sacrificed thing," she told him, "tonight was pretty fun."
