"It's certainly aged well, then," Lian said with a slight smirk, taking another sip.
"Fear gets you killed," Lian said, "I've learned that if you don't use your instincts, you get hurt. I know that I'm already risking my life everyday, but I'd like to be alive for at least a little while longer."
"I am sorry to hear about the loss of your brother, truly. Losing a family member is tough."
She'd been expecting this. Which was why she'd thought out a passable response.
"Truthfully...I enjoy a challenge. My mother always spoke of the challenges that the League offered her. And like you said earlier, I'm bored of my life. I'm tired of living in a box, in world with restrictions. I hate being trapped."
