Metropolis
Aello, Celaeno, and Ocypete three harpies swooped down into Metropolis and circled the top of the Daily Planet a few times before heading down to the streets. They swooped down and grabbed a citizen before taking them up to a roof top to torture them a bit.

	Though she had been trying to keep a low profile, Alura could not help but act when Metropolis, her home in any era, was threatened. She swooped down from the sky, blasting at the harpies with her heat vision. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Curious creatures. Alura did not recognize them as belonging to any known species in the galactic database (of course she had it memorized), but, as much as she hated to admit it, there might be gaps in her knowledge. She fired another blast of heat vision. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Alura assessed the situation, keeping her distance from the creatures. Where had they come from? Who had sent them? The Legion's continued struggles against Mordu had given her some experience with magic, but she preferred to leave those kind of conflicts to others.
