AJ grabs onto the leviathan's scales to hang on. He pulls out his sword and stabs it into the monster's hide and hangs onto that.
"Ahrg, just, calm down!" AJ yells as he's thrashed about. All he can do is use his telepathy to try and soothe the creature, but it proves very difficult as the other heroes provoke it.
