What Happens In Vegas Eats People In Vegas
What looks like a bat-winged lion with a tail covered in spikes flies down the Las Vegas strip. With a savage wave of its tail, poison spines shoot into a crowd, paralyzing those they hit.

Once its prey are struck still, it swoops in for the easy meal.

	Varon manages to get behind the creature's back, grappling with its wings. "I do not wish to hurt you, mighty creature, but I cannot allow you to harm innocent people!" He pins the wings together and attempts to force the manticore into a downward spiral. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Chatty food too. The manticore did not like this at all. And now more food was trying to tie it up! What happened to the old days when a monster could just eat people unmolested? It struggled mightily against Varon's grip, trying to buck him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Varon and the manticore both tumble back slightly, one wing slipping from the Hyper Teen's grip. The sound helped clear his head somewhat, fighting past the, for his constitution, psychotropic effects of the spines.

"By the fifteen pyres of Pinbegad! You... you're from Apokolips?" He seizes the beast by a leg, then swings rapidly in a circle, before releasing it, sending it hurtling into the portal.
