He was already on edge. Its a rescue mission... for Cait's Dad, who won't be grateful. Cait is on edge, and not helping stabilize him. The godwave wasn't as effective as he'd hoped, usually it puts people down hard. Must be less effective indoors. The fight is getting messy, he's under attack, even if it doesn't hurt. He's telekinetically supporting the weight of a volcano. And now Cait is under attack, its all too much.
"Oh no... no." he whispers, as he feels the familiar tingle in his hands and head and new powers coming to the fore without his will. He's about to warn the Titans, and to a lesser degree, the Atlanteans, but it comes on too fast amidst the chaos.
And all of a sudden, Ty has an eyepatch, a tricorn hat and a parrot who flaps around amidst the fight, and he's defending himself with a cutlass in one hand and a belaying pin in the other.
"Yaarrrr! Avast ye swabs, it be back to the briny deeps for ye, and send me best to Davey Jones."
