A package arrived for Nicolette Hall at the JSA brownstone. It contained a small bottle of perfume, a gift certificate for the Flying Pig Farmers' Market in Union Square, and a note.

The perfume is Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab's 'And There Was a Great Cry in Egypt'. Sandalwood, cypress, honey, etc. The note says 'Thinking of you. The perfume seemed right for you somehow. I hope you like it, but please don't mind telling me if you don't. See you this weekend. Cindy'

A box? Nic looked around to make sure Rex wasn't looking and then pounced on it, ripping into the box with glee. She sniffed at the perfume first, then hid the gift certificate in her bra--that'd buy some bacon--and went straight for the note.

Decidedly the weekend was too far away. She considered making a flight for it now, but had the presence of mind to do something else instead: she quickly used her phone, took a mostly chaste picture of her cleavage and sent it to Cindy's phone.

	Nic blinked with surprise when the text came through. She recognized transliterated Masri readily as it wasn't uncommon in some of the shops in Cairo. But it was uncommon in the States and even more so among teenage girls. [You speak Masri?] The text was in English, but she followed it with the same sentence in Masri.
