Mike tried doing research as long as he could but it wasn't in him to be a researcher  like that. After Zach and Victoria had disappeared on Sin and him Mike decided he needed a break before he did something stupid.

Mike promptly got up from the table he was doing research at and told sin he was going to the Oblivion Bar to get a drink (or twenty). Thanks to his dual citizenship with the US and the UK was legal there.

After getting a doorway back to Gotham he made his way to his Mom's small occult and magic shop which had a doorway to Oblivion Bar in it's back room for real practitioners. He also choose to go this way so he could quickly say hi to his mom too.

Once there he sat down at the bar and order himself a large beer.

A package arrived for Nicolette Hall at the JSA brownstone. It contained a small bottle of perfume, a gift certificate for the Flying Pig Farmers' Market in Union Square, and a note.

The perfume is Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab's 'And There Was a Great Cry in Egypt'. Sandalwood, cypress, honey, etc. The note says 'Thinking of you. The perfume seemed right for you somehow. I hope you like it, but please don't mind telling me if you don't. See you this weekend. Cindy'

A small herd of Hippocampus had charged in and taken over the harbor of Happy Harbor. They attacked any ships or people that got close to them.

They did not seem to be going after anyone once they got away from the herd.
