Lian smiled at them. "Good evening," she said in Italian. After that, her knowledge of Italian was limited. She debated swapping to French, or Spanish even, but didn't want to be rude.
While she didn't doubt that Damien spoke Italian, she didn't want to feel like an idiot by asking him to translate what she said to the cast for her. Lian paused, searching for the right thing to say.
"That was..lovely." She said. "The opera," she added on in English.
