"S.T.A.R. would be foolish to not work with you," she said. Then again Cait was a little biased. Just a bit. "I'm sure something can be arranged where you can collaborate with people there from here. People telecommute all of the time."
"We had a good stretch of quiet before life got crazy." She kissed him. "Even just for a day or two. Just a little bit of time just for us. That's all I want."
A yawn slipped out. The adrenaline rush was gone and Cait was feeling exhausted.
