An hour after Hope's abduction, Rex asks Avia to call her parents and tell them he needs to speak to them immediately at the Brownstone.

Rather than hunt them down, he'll let the people with Boom Tubes come to him for ease of travel...and because most people would rather die someplace familiar than elsewhere.

	Himon fought off his first group of attackers, whirling to make sure that no one else could close upon him. "Is there no one else?!" he yells, blood-rage emanating from him. 	Himon rolls to the side, trying to dodge the blasts and slams up against a wall of the mob. They push him back into the circle, cheering at Mantis. Himon gets to his feet quickly, looking for a way to close the distance between himself and Mantis. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Himon blocks the first shot, quickly returning with a sword thrust. "Learn to live with disappointment, weakling. You know my grandfather fully expects you to lose, don't you? 	The left hook rocks the Dog of Rage and he staggers a bit, but he shakes it off quickly. "Second to Darkseid, you said? Then I have been misinformed. Clearly, my grandfather is not nearly as powerful as I was told, if he has weaklings like you working for him!" Himon growls, kicking at Mantis' kneecap. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	There was a sickening crack at the kick connected and Mantis roared in pain. He concentrated for a moment, his right hand glowing brightly. "The power of my Anti-Matter Punch will teach you some respect!" He threw another punch. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

he punch connects and Himon is surprised at the force of the blow. He rolls along the ground and skids to a stop in front of a group of criminals, who take the opportunity to punch and kick him for his troubles.

Himon stabs one man, then punches another with bone-shattering force, then struggles to his feet.

"Is that all you have, Mantis?" he asks. "I expected more from one of your kind. I am disappointed. Immensely."

Then he roars and leaps forward at Mantis, trying to keep him off-balance so that he can't use that Anti-Matter Punch again.

	The blow knocked Mantis back, adding to his injuries. He fired another energy blast, but it was noticeably weaker than before. He was running out of energy. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Himon takes the blast, noting the decrease in power. The momentum has swung back in his favor and he relishes the opportunity. He swings on Mantis again and again, trying to beat him down for good. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
