"Oh hell," Cyrus snaps. The starts to run through the reactivation sequence for the colony.
"Aleeron! Collectors are firing on the colony. I need a few minutes to get the systems ready to fire. It's not meant to fire things at this range. Too close, man. Just.... Can you buy me some time?" Cyrus is rambling at a mile a minute. There is little that doesn't come out of his mouth when he is nerved up like this.
