Lian Harper/Jade Arrow ([info]rightontarget) wrote in [info]dc_nextgen,
While Tim was busy outside, Lian was occupied inside. She'd made her way into the building, completely unaware that Red Robin was outside, keeping the guards busy.

If Dobrev wanted to keep himself so well protected, he maybe shouldn't have kept his windows open.

Of course, the second some female dressed in all black snuck into his room, Dobrev jumped up, scrambling to call his guards, only to find himself pinned to the floor in a matter of moments.

"You can scream, but only if you want to end your life right here and now. Or, you can listen to what I've got to say and play nice, okay?" She pressed a throwing knife against the man's throat for good measure.

He nodded. He had no other choice, and he valued his life far to much.

Lian remained in the same spot, keeping him pinned, in case he got any bright ideas.

"You've really pissed off a friend of mine, you see," she said, keeping her knife in the same position. "Someone who doesn't take people stealing from him very lightly."

He locked eyes with her, full of horror and shock. He knew who she was referring to. He didn't think that Damien Wilson would figure his game out this quickly.

"Yes," she said, "The Demon's Head is a smart man. He doesn't like it when those that he provides so generously to make him look bad. And boy does he hate being lied to."

He found himself starting to sweat coldly. Everything had planned out so well. He didn't expect it to backfire.

"Now...unlike my employer, I'm willing to listen to reason. You don't have to die."

He gulped. "What do you want from me?"

"My demands are simple, really; you give me back the money you stole, and I help you. Of course, you do understand that, if you help me, you can't continue doing what you're doing here. Our employer wants you dead, you see."

He paled. This really wasn't his day.

"I'm not going to kill you," Lian said, seeing the panic on his face. "Simply make you...disappear." She pulled out several papers from her quiver. "This is the new identity that you'll be operating on, along with where you'll be going once this little encounter is going. If I were, I'd follow my instructions and not draw any attention to myself- alright?"

It had helped that she'd paid off some of Dobrev's guard to help her before she'd broken in. She was going to need some help smuggling him out, after all.

Dobrev listened to everything that she had to say before giving her an answer.

"The money is in the safe. All of it."

Lian grinned. "Now....we can't have the Demon's Head knowing that you're still alive. That wouldn't be good for the both of us, now would it?" She pulled out a small vile out of her quiver. "Drink this, and anyone who comes near you in the next twenty-four hours will think that they're staring at a dead man."

He nodded, taking his medicine willingly. He was conscious for a few more moments before passing out.

Lian then stood up. She had to at least make it look like a struggle had been put up. Quickly, she broke several items in the room to make it look like Dobrev had put up a fight. Also, she had to make it look like she got her hands a little dirty. And Dobrev was a bastard, and she was letting him off way to easy.

When all of this undercover crap was done, she was making sure that he got put away for good.

Lian stood over Dobrev's body, readying to make her way to go.
