Lian hit the floor as the rocket went off.
Damnien had sent backup. Of course he did. Lian cursed under her breath, as she slowly got to her feet. She hadn't been expecting this.
Unfortunately, she couldn't help out Tim without it getting back to Damien. And if it was Morgaine that he sent to her help her, she was just going to love telling her brother that she'd been playing the League the entire time.
