With the rather large and apparently random damage, Will knows that someone wants his attention. Call it intuition, call it genre saavy, call it what you will, but Will knows that someone is trying to call out the newest Captain Marvel.
Time to oblige.
With his magic word, Will goes high above the sound, little more than a speck to the citizens while he scanned, looking for a blur or damage to find out who is attacking.
