Maria was ready by 5:55 and waiting by the front door. Lucy had went with her to buy a dress and they found one that would be suitable. It was a little black dress and would serve for a number of different functions.
A pair of black heels and a black clutch rounded out the outfit. Maria had gotten lucky at the thrift store. She didn't feel right about spending a small fortune on clothes so she had Lucy take her to a thrift store.
