"Oliver Queen has made a lot of enemies over the years, Rose. A lot of them are well-deserved, too." Robert says, almost automatically.
"Again, I'm just going with what I know. If Slade really tried to kill Roy Harper, the guy would be dead and Slade would probably take out an ad in the paper so that Oliver knew who to come after once he read it." Robert says, stepping up to hold the bag for her.
"He doesn't do sloppy work. Let me ask you this: If it could be proven that Slade didn't do it...would you consider giving him another chance, Rose?" Robert asks.
