i went on a ridiculous, last-minute camping trip this weekend as a kind of a late birthday celebration for my friend, bella. we were planning on going camping on vancouver island but everyone invited bailed last minute due to being extremely broke so instead we went camping on an island in the Fraser River (where my parents have a floating house). essentially we just hung out with my parents and they ferried my friends, their tent gear and a profuse amount of drugs and alcohol onto a tiny island in the middle of a marsh. it was pretty much the most relaxing time i've had all summer.
