Sarah is about to block the new effort, having correctly guessed her skill might be greater than the demon's, when she notices the beam going at Quinn's body. She grits her teeth, and dives into the way of it with the shield to protect their mage, her dive helping her roll with the hammerblow, but not avoid it entirely, taking a clipping blow to her shoulder.
Damn, that hurts. But at least Quinn is still able to focus on his efforts for now.
