Sarah ducks back at the assault. She may be the better fighter, but she can't match the versatility of the spellcasting. She ducks behind the shield all she can, but still ends up with bloody streaks across her shoulders and thighs. Thanks to her durability, they lose some of their punch, but with the magic and their velocity, it still definitely leaves a mark.
In return, as she catches the hammer, since she's already ducked down, she slams it down once, then again, calling down a stroke of lightning. Her accuracy still is far from perfect, but she's hoping she can get close, at least.
