That's... way, way too many Sentinels to fight.
Sarah kicks up an undirected storm, figuring that if she gets the lightning going, it may help disrupt whatever is going on with all the energy in that portal and limit how many end up getting through.
As soon as she gets that started, she whirls the hammer - she doesn't need it to fly, but it can give her speed a kickstart - and launches herself at the portal, trying to get there first so she can act as early warning - kicking up a storm as she goes.
