Asgardian Gethsemene, Part 1.
When the Exiles materialize in their next location, they have a lot of new company in the middle of a rock-strewn, windy field. In the distance, there is a building with a slanted, thatched roof. It is the only building in the immediate vicinity, though those with sharp eyes may see various small structures even further in the distance.

Dory drifts the pair of them toward the conversation that sounds most like gossip. Gossipers are generally more than happy to fill in the blanks for new people, if you approach them right.

"No, it's absolutely a Mjolnir from another universe," he chimes in, and shrugs a little when it draws attention to him -- as if that wasn't his goal in the first place. "I was surprised when I saw it too, but it's definitely Mjolnir, and she's definitely not from where I'm from." He pours on the charm and sketches an appropriate little bow. "Dorian Valentine, reality- and conversation-jumper, I'm afraid."

And they will happily introduce themselves with hard-to-pronounce Aesir names that Dory will likely pronounce correctly anyway, and mention that nevertheless, Lady Ororo will probably appreciate any help she can get. Balder really ought to help more, but his wife keeps him away, apparently claiming that he'll have enough ruling to do after Ragnarok and can stay in Nornheim now. "...and who knows how soon he'll be needed," one of the dwarves remarks ominously from the corner.

Nate will sense feelings of doubt and suspicion spiking between the people involved, even though no one feels like they're lying.

"Is that what you're expecting is coming, sir?" Dory asks, turning to include the dwarf who'd spoken in the conversation, though he makes sure not to actually turn his back on his previous conversation partners. They might have more information to share -- or their responses to the dwarf's comment or his answer to Dory's question might point him in the direction of more questions to ask.

"King Eitri's father oft talked of being prepared, and prepared to help the Aesir, at that. The young king does the same, especially after his father's murder -- aye, murder. But..."

"But we needed more information," says the familiar-looking young woman coming through the doors of the meadhall, apparently finishing the sentence.

Dory doesn't quite do a double-take at the new arrival, but he does jab a (relatively) gentle elbow into Nate's ribs as he bows his greeting to her. It's a curious resemblance, to be sure. He lets some of the surprise leak into his facial expression.

"On which matters?" he asks politely.

Nate was focusing his attentions on the odd feels of doubt and suspicion come up around the topic of Nornheim and trying to figure out why when Dory jabbed him in the ribs. That was definitely strange to see.

"Suspicions of murderous incursions into the realm, for one thing. Who the heck art thou? And canst thou explain it while we're finding Lady Ororo?"

"Lady Ororo is missing?" Dory asks, alarmed. He'd thought that it was just Thor, which was bad enough, but if Storm is also missing...

He glances around quickly, gauging the response of the Asgardians and Dwarves around him to this news.

To which suggestion the daughter of Fandral looks shocked. "Missing--?" But she's quickly reassured by the onlookers that the Lady Ororo is just at a war council, and wear.

"We must hurry. And thou didst not answer my question."

"My mistake," Dory says. "When you said 'find', I worried you needed to search for her outside of these walls.

"I am Dorian Valentine, my companions and I are travelers here. Our leader is currently attending the war council with the Lady Ororo. Please, we'll go with you."
