Good Girl Gone Bad
Roxanne was a girl of simple dreams. The white picket fence wasn't gonna happen. She was never very good in school because she was mov'n all the time, but one thing she could do was ride. Dad had managed to get this 65 Panhead from a dumbass iwho bet he couldn't jump 5 cars on the spot. The guy lined up construction truck but-to-grill and Crash still flew right on over them. The guy was pissed and they couldn't ever go back to Savannah after he won the bike, but that was just one of the loving thing Crash had done for his girl. Social workers kept trying to break the family up when they saw them. They said she should be in school. One of those fools even said what her and Johnny had wasn't natural. They were always on the freeways. When they stopped it was set up, lights and show on, then you just had to tear down until the next gig. Sometimes they'd settle in for winter. Most of the time, they wouldn't. The carnie life is what she knew and she loved it. The yokels could have their nice comfortable lives with the lights and show just passing through their lives. She lived more and saw more then they ever would. Johnny swore one day they'd have the good life with money and repect because of his stunts, but Roxanne couldn't care. She just wanted what she had, Johnny, and her family. That's why when Dad kept getting sick it scared them. Dad knew how to stay one step ahead of the truant officers, social workers, cops, and the bikers who would really mess you up. She and Johnny were still underage as far as anyone outside of the show cared to know. Things got worse when Johnny started jumping for Crash. Things got even worse when someone ratted to the cops that she and Johnny both were under 18 and jumping cars. Her mother when she was alive knew real magic. Who knew that trying to find a way to save Crash was gonna nuke the whole world?

Roxanne squirms in the ER. Docs always make her nervous, but since her Dad got all sick it's like they know she's bad and doesn't belong here. The smell of the place makes her sick. She wants to road.

"So, ah think I know where to start look'n, if the old guy's fine."

	She's nervous, but damn if there's a trace of it in her cat moves. there's no subtlety here. She's gotten the impression Gene and most men just kind of like it when a lady makes things as clear as a neon sign. "Well, hello there." She drapes her arms around him. "Well, bless y'all's heart!" She plays up the accent just a touch. "It's the only way a girl can git ah real man these days."

She starts thinking about how far to bluff this. She was saving herself for Johnny, but...the universe went to hell and Johnny would understand.

"Listen, we can do all the tourist-y stuff, but ah got this feel'n you guys just aren't into disco and ah know this concert thing gonna happen tonight - and ah just hate danc'n by my lonesome."

	They glance at each other. They'd seen the posters for the band OSCULATION, but none of them felt good about going. It just seemed... wrong somehow. On the other chance, a chance to score is a chance to score. They smile. "Let's go!" Gene says, gesturing to the door. (Reply to this)(Parent)
