No Rest For the Weary
The alarms cut through the silence of the night and started blaring. The residents and guests of the mansion would come from their rooms and other places to find injured individuals around the grounds. Most were sporting bleeding cuts and gashes that appeared to have been made by claws. A few faces were definitely missing from the gathered group.

Sabretooth notices the ineffectiveness of the general swipe. Thankfully for him, good as Natasha is, while armored, he's still quicker, and one of the best. He rolls with the punch, but even with that is set stumbling.

He lunges again, this time trying to swipe at one of the joints. His claws may not be adamantium, but he's cunning enough, even driven feral, to recognize going for weak points in the armor.

	Big mistake to get Closer to the ground. That was all Logan's territory. Armor was just a red flag in his face. Something different to open and squish the annoying bug inside. He snarled and leaped directly onto Dane. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	This guy is seems as scary as any daemon Dane has ever faced, but the Black Knight has killed a thousand and more feral beasts like this one; he'll do so again. He lets Logan come, at the last moment rolling backward with the attack to toss the man over his head, even as he brings his sword up yet again, attempting to skewer Logan as he moves overhead. 	Sabretooth sees that coming, figuring she'd go back to the repulsors. He takes a nasty burn across his back as he ducks, hurt, but just being pushed further into a snarling, howling frenzy by it as he leaps at her legs, trying to tear at one of the joints. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Logan rammed one fistful of claws into the ground to anchor himself, using his adamantium weight to keep him from rolling too far. In a split second, he was turned around and making another leap for Dane. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Black Knight wasn't expecting him to recover quite so fast, and he's barely able to meet Logan's next charge with his shield, trying to keep it between them even as he tries, once again, to poke at an exposed area of Logan's body. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Damn. Damn. There was some swearing in Russia as Creed held on to her foot. The tip of a claw or two slipped between her ankle joint and dug into skin. Natasha grimaced and tried to smash Creed between her foot and a tree. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Creed rakes as hard as he can, trying to disrupt the boot jet and dig his claws into the weak point in the armor as much as he can. Then he's slammed into the tree, and forced to let go as the air is dashed from his lungs. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Logan was too far gone to care that he was being poked at by a sword. The red around his vision closed in a little more. He shifted until he was kneeling on the shield between them and pounding his fists against it and Dane's helmet. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The blows rain against his shield and his helmet, dazing Dane and forcing him to cover for all he's worth, his sword currently ineffective against the onslaught. 	Creed slams into Logan, taking a few moments to work on untangling himself, gone well beyond the point of talking, just snarling at Tasha as he extricates himself and shakes off the impact, ignoring Dane entirely, his full focus on the Widow. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Widow, if you have ideas on how to kill these two so that we can help the others, I'm all ears as of now." Dane says.

Dane predicted that Logan wouldn't be stopped by something so simple and decides to act according as Logan leaps at him again. Pointing his sword in Logan's direction, he channels a blast of cosmic energy through the weapon trying to slow the feral man down.

	Sabretooth is slowed down enough with the shove that he's pushed right into the repulsorblast. It hits full force, sending him skidding back, leaving a furrow in the grass. With a snarl, and smoking badly, even a couple deep holes in him, he roars, pushing back to his feet with murder in his eyes. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The blast caught Logan in mid-leap and slammed him into a tree. The trunk cracked with his weight. The echo of another crack from his skull hitting the hard wood followed close behind the first.

Dazed, it took Logan a longer few seconds to shake it off before he rejoined the fray, this time attacking the Dane standing on the left side. He'd get to the one on the right in a few seconds.

	Dane noted that Logan had finally seemed to be somewhat hurt and decided that he had to press the advantage now, or he wouldn't live to celebrate. Black Knight charges Logan, attempted to slash the first body part that came his way. Then he'd attempt to bash him in the face with the shield and keep his noggin ringing if at all possible. 	Natasha knew that repulsors would just keep pushing Creed back and that wasn't going to stop him. Natasha's suit wasn't geared for offensive capabilities, but it did have some punch. She launched two rockets at Creed. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Eventually, the repulsors might have worked, or he might have gotten to her. In his current state, he's not thinking, just reacting. The projectiles - he lashes at, trying to smash them out of the air. Good idea with a lot of projectiles - not so much with rockets. There's an explosion, and a smoking Creed goes flying back, landing, and not getting up. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Dazed, Logan let out a growl loud enough to strike fear in the hearts of field mice. The situation, up to now toying interlopers in his territory, became amazingly simple to his mind. He was cornered and like all cornered, wounded animals it made him even more dangerous.

Ignoring the sword, the shield, the /person/, he launched himself with deadly intent. Not at the Black Knight. The Black Knight expected it. He attacked the armored figure.

Logan's assumptions are correct; Dane is expecting an attack on his person, which is what he's set for. So when Logan launches himself at Iron Widow, Dane isn't fast enough to cover the attack.

He tries for desperate slash at Logan's flank as he sails by, hoping to buy Natasha a few seconds.

"WIDOW! LOOK OUT!" Dane yells, turning around so that he can try to catch up.
