The fight with the Hulk was over, but a bigger threat now loomed. Apocalypse had risen and once again threatened the world. He closed in on New York. It would be his capital in the world he would shape.

Damn it. This was not going the way Dane had hoped. She was only getting worse, not better.

"Kevin...if you've got an ace up your sleeve, now would be the time to play it." Dane grunts, trying to hold his ground, even as Rahne starts to push him back, inch by inch.

He tries another stab and then another, hoping he can weaken her leg enough to take away from her momentum.

And there'll be no response from Mr. Kinross -- until the cackling and the crackling. And while most of the duplicates are all heading in teh same direction, two, howling madly, come running towards Rahne.

"Hey, little sister," says a voice that's forgotten what being human feels like. They grab her first by the shoulders, then press their glowing hands to her head and seem almost to wrest something from her, the orange light growing even more. There's an almost physical darkness of psionic energy between their hands, and they're ripping it apart.

Rahne will fall to the ground, reverting to her human form.

	Dane isn't sure /what/ he just witnessed, but he's glad that Rahne is no longer attacking him. Still, he won't leave her there to bleed or get trampled; Kevin would want that. He sheathes his sword and dismisses his shield for a moment, leaning down to pick up Rahne and move her to safety. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The glowing hand of one of the Kevs twitches to reach towards Dane, but it's pulled back with a bit of a strained hiss between his teeth, before the two Kevs rush to join the others. "...thanks..." is the inhuman snarl as they do. (Reply to this)(Parent)
