Sif slowly climbed her way back to consciousness. The darkness retreated and soft warm, comforting light reached her eyes. The dark, cold cell was gone. She blinked a few times and looked around. She recognized this place. The Avengers Mansion and the medical bay.
Memories came flooding back. Over powering the guard and getting out of that cell. Making her way through Svartalfheim, avoiding patrol of Dark Elves. Finding the portal to Asgard proper and then crossing Bifrost to Migard. Stumbling through Central Park to the Avengers gate.
She groaned as she started to sit up.
