He nods, settling painfully back down onto the bed.
"Do these things, and thou wilt ne'er need apologize to me, for thou'rt mine liege lady. Thou canst not fail me, for tis only mine job to do well and die for thee. Do these things, and thou hast no need to worry for mine life... I wilt be most pleased with all that hast come before if mine death ist the finest moment of mine life. And when I exist only as a rallying cry and a memory to drink to, that memory shalt be a far better person than e'er I wast. And I wilt be happier in death than e'er I hath been in life.
And for thee, I wilt try to keep it in mind. But there are joys outside of family and the training room. Live a little, and mayhap thou wilt find some of them.
But ne'er apologize. There ist no need here. Deal with the rest, I think as well of thee as e'er I hath."
