Jack Murdock ([info]jackmurdock) wrote in [info]marvel_nextgen,
Jack had all the makings of a picnic in his refrigerator for a Valentine's Day outing in case Kal made it back from dealing with Eternal business. He didn't hold out much hope for it, but neither did he let it stop him from being prepared. She would appear when she could and he would be happy to see her.

He was in the bedroom putting away laundry (and reconsidering his 'urban gymnastics' attire) when he heard the knock on the window. No matter what else was happening in the world, laundry had to be done and had to be put away. He couldn't stand a cluttered environment.

He peered around the door jamb and smiled when he saw her outside on the fire escape. He got it open for her. "Hey Beautiful."
