Making Contact
With Nicholas being such a pain in the ass about the stuff with Romanov, Tessa would have to set up a date. Nicholas didn't understand that things like this took time. If she moved too quickly Romanov would get suspicious. The family was suspicious enough, borderline paranoid, and Tessa had to step very very carefully.

She dialed his number.

His muscles seemed to pulse in phantom aches as he thought about what he would be doing with his summer. Training. Lots of training.

"Travel some. I think there are a few events in Moscow we're attending. The embassy handler has the schedule. I'm supposed to spend some time there. Kind of a goodwill thing." With the Winter Guard. "Going to do some fishing with my brothers, too."
