The crack got her to raise an eyebrow. As she's almost as equally annoyed at her mother, she can understand. Kind of. "I started to look into who my father might be after my powers finished developing...just in case they weren't all from Mom. I had to be sneaky about it, because I was pretty sure that Mom would kill me if she found out what I was up to. It took me a while to go through all of her past relationships,but I was able to figure out that she got pregnant with me shortly after she stopped dating you. I took some money out of the savings account that she'd had me set up when I was seven, wrote her a note, threw some clothes in a suitcase, and hopped on the first plane out of Boston to LA."
