Syd sighed and gulped down the rest of her mead.
"He knows about Zoey. I don't know. He wants to get to know her and he wants to be a part of her life. I don't know what that means exactly, but I've already seen a lawyer and have one on retainer if he tries to pull something."
She refilled her glass.
