He breathes a sigh of relief.

And for that, Argo will need to commit to something, or he won't take it seriously. And sleeping with me... wouldn't be good for you. It'd taint your soul, alright, but that ain't a good thing."

He takes another shot of whiskey. "I wish I could lie to you and tell you it all goes away. But it won't. But it will make you strong enough to realize all the challenges that come later ain't so bad, and when you and your brother stick together and overcome all the shit in your past, you'll be better for it. Neither you, nor your brother are going to hell, you have time."

He sighs. "Alisa, before you go telling me what a good person or friend I am, I want you to consider a few things though. Revenge ain't good for anyone... but its my business. Sleeping with me wouldn't be good, but its right where my mind went, and you talked yourself out of it before I said anything. It doesn't matter if I was a candidate for sainthood the rest of my life, I can't make up for anything. The devil already has my soul, the space its supposed to occupy is home to a demon. I'm not a good person, and just because I try and fake it now and then don't make anything different."
