Mayhem...and a little dinner.
Joey and Rose arrived at the sushi restaurant, and he let Rose take the lead since this were her territory and all. They spent most of the taxi ride talking about small things and laughing at each other's jokes. He was still pretty new to the Big Apple, so he asked questions about the different places they passed on the way.

Walking inside, Joey finds himself drawn to the quiet, private atmosphere of the restaurant, and wishes more eateries were like this. It's not Xavier's, but it's cool in its own way, and having Rose as company makes it perfect.

The pair are seated and provided menus and get set up with their drinks. Joey looks over the menu and realizes that he doesn't know what half the stuff on it is, so he learns in to whisper to Rose.

"Okay, what's good here?" he asks.

"Well, I wouldn't really call Foxx a guardian angel, so much as a...check and balance. She checks up on me when I've bitten off more than I can chew, and I pay the balance by not getting in so much trouble next time." Joey says.

"I actually haven't seen her in four months. I don't even know why she's here." he says, as Foxx pulls up in a black car Dodge Charger.

"Come on. Let's get back to the school and I'll find a way to make tonight up to you. I think there's still some ice cream in the freezer." he smiles.

Foxx looks at both of them from the driver's side of the vehicle.

"All aboard! If you don't get on now, you're walkin'!" she yells.

Joey looks happy with this girl, which is what his old man would have wanted. Foxx figures to drop these kids off and then go somewhere nice for a little while and let things cool off.

Hopefully the kid make it four months or so without getting killed in the meantime.

	Rose made a mental note to investigate this Foxx person as thoroughly as possible. She smiled though. "Sounds like a plan to me," she told Joey. "Let's go home." (Reply to this)(Parent)
