Strike one, somebody called her Samantha. Ordinarily she'd have let it go with a polite correction, but stress made the muscle in her jaw twitch in irritation.
She looked up at the uninvited man across from her and resolved to work harder on her GO AWAY vibes at her first free moment. It was important to keep up with the useful skills.
"I shoot guys that call me Samantha," she said in a polite voice. "You have three seconds to explain why I shouldn't now."
