The Other Asgard
Svalin had promised Vernique a trip west when Svalin went, but Halbjorn was here in the city to get changed back into a male. Svalin still needed to go and get her other weapons and gear, but she could wait. Her brother was recovering from his injuries and Svalin knew what would help the process along. Mead. And lots of it.

There wasn't mead in the Avengers mansion, but Svalin knew where they could get some. With that in mind she went looking for Vernique. Perhaps she would accompany Svalin and Halbjorn to Asgard.

	Halbjorn steps in with a grin, calling to the bartender and the crowd, "That ist no way to greet the sons and daughters of Asgard! 	Svalin smiled. Yes, this was what her brother needed. She did feel guilty about what she had to do and taking him out for mead seemed like a good thing to do. The patrons in the bar cheered. 	Halbjorn is injured, not dead, and right in his element. Work hard, fight hard, play hard. He grabs the nearest open table, and pulls out chairs for the girls before settling in. Svalin doesn't respond because he knows she will have one, maybe two at the most, cups of mead. She never drank to excess and always kept her wits about her.

"I doth doubt thou wilt see the bottom of thine cup, brother," Svalin said with a smile. She had always been impressed with just how much her brother could drink. He could give Volstagg a worthy challenge when it came to drinking mead.

	Vernique's normally a partisan for drinks that had fruit juice involved at some point in the process, but mead is quite nice too, in its own way. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
