Bottom of the seventh, two outs, man on second...
The cheering had been enthusiastic. The parents not so disgruntled with Dad on hand to keep the arguing down. Every kid got to bat and Coach Mike rotated the field positions among the kids who showed interest during practices. The whole team proudly wore their shirts with Stark Inc embroidered on the sleeves. Mom's suggestion to ask for sponsorship had been a good one. Having a prince as a coach didn't have quite the same effect as a high powered name on the sleeve.

With the score eight to two, they weren't going to pull this one out of the hole, but they were having a great time. Soon a pizza feast Mom and Anya promised would be delivered and the boys would celebrate their first loss of the season in high spirits all the while promising they would win the next one. They just might, too. Misha wasn't giving up on them.

	Tessa promised Misha that she would be there to watch the game and she kept her promise. She sat on a small blanket on the third base side and cheered the team on. It looked like they were going to lose, but it looked like the kids were having fun. That's what mattered, right? (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Misha waved to Tessa when she arrived and then concentrated on the game. It was winding up with his guys racking up another run, doing a lot better than they had in practice. He was proud of their performance. They deserved every cheer. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The final out came thirty minutes later, and Misha lined his guys up to congratulate the winning team while the pizza was delivered and the picnic tables set up to accommodate the team. The final score was 10-3. He walked back to Tessa and offered his hand to pull her up. "There won't be any ice cream, I'm afraid. It just doesn't keep well in the ice chests." A warning was all he could do. The teasing would probably be directed at him alone, but the fact that Tessa was a redhead would provide Brat with plenty of entertainment. And he could say Tessa was just a friend until he was blue; Brat would probably not believe him.

The boys were busy selecting sodas from the ice chests and climbing onto the table benches while pizza was being handed around. It had the air of a big family party.

	Anya cheered the loudest and the most for Misha's team. Mom laughed at her and James just rolled his eyes, but she didn't care. She was having fun. Baseball was so not her, but cheering was something she could easily do. She made sure the pizzas and sport drinks were delivered at the time the game ended. The guys had probably worked up an appetite and a thirst. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Misha appreciated Anya's enthusiasm. He was lucky; his family was exceptionally supportive of each other. With the guys crowding around the food and drinks, and shyly crushing on Anya, he escorted Tessa to Natasha first for introductions. "Mom, Tessa Reece. 	Tessa took very special note of the family members. There was one missing though. The younger brother on Wolverine's side. She took notice of Wolverine and knew Nicholas would have a fit knowing she had been this close to the man. "I did. It was fun to watch." She turned to Misha. "Will you introduce me to them?" 	Misha laughed and led her over to where Anya was directing the troops. Brat's organizational skills were put to good use. Every kid had pizza and a drink and they were happily recounting their favorite moments of the game, all at the same time. "Anya," he said to get her attention. "This is my friend Tessa.
