Irresistable force, meet immovable object. Jordan's stock in trade isn't being the strongest around, or the best fighter. He may well not be able to bring the Wendigo down - and he knows it. But he can buy the others time and keep the other side's muscle tied up.
He can also fight smart. The impacts hurt, and every charge, he's driven back. He's also going to have a sprained neck and shoulder for a week from absorbing all this raw force, but he still lowers his shoulder, getting low and burying his shoulder into the Wendigo's gut again, meeting the charge with squared feet and a shoulder block, being driven back, but staying up.
