At the nudge, once he figures out what she's up to, he takes off after her. Sure, he drinks and smokes, but he lives an active life, and isn't exactly a chain smoker, two or three a day get him by fine. He's not far behind by the time she turns, grinning and picking up speed into a sprint to try and catch her.
