"Let me guess. They'd be bored to tears?" he says, chuckling a little himself. He didn't know if Steve might be the type to hang out indoors if Anya was there, but it sounded reasonable until Anya started laughing.
"Question for you: What is Toni like?" he asks. He hasn't had a lot of interaction with her, and getting to know her through her friend might help them both ease past the stage of awkwardness that came with meeting a stranger who shares your DNA.
