Like James, Misha had not been able to escape the requisite tuxedo shopping; although unlike James, he hadn't needed one because he'd grown. He hadn't grown in the last four years. His closet was full of formal clothes that hadn't been worn more than a couple of times. It didn't stop Mom and you just couldn't win an argument with a pregnant woman.
It was almost over, which Misha was more than happy about. More than one member of the court and the ruling council suggested (strongly in some cases) that another royal wedding in the next year or two in order to cement the Romanov family wouldn't be amiss. He just couldn't shake the feeling that he was the runner up stud in a dog show, and more than glad Mikhail was the winner.
He offered the happy couple wishes for a long life and big family so many times that Mikhail was giving him odd looks.
Lyta seemed to be having a good time, so he waited patiently for her before taking the dance floor with the rest of the family. Contrary to anyone else's beliefs, he had the most beautiful date in the room.
