Having Fun In the Warm California Sun
It had taken a little effort and a lot of talking and explaining, but the Asgardians, Ohu and Griffen O'Niell were moving to California. They were going to act as the Avengers' west coast team and would go by the name of The Defenders. Their headquarters would be at the former West Coast Avengers base Avengers' Compound located at 1800 Palos Verdes Drive just outside of LA.

The 15 acre estate featured one main building, five bungalows, garage, hangar, tennis courts and a private beach. It would be a good base for the Defenders and keep the collateral damage out of city.

Today was moving-in day.

	Ohu doesn't exactly have many things to move in. Though he's disappointed by the size of the standard bed. Clearly, something must be done. It is time to go shopping for a bed. "Friend Asgardians! By now Svalin wasn't surprised at the things Ohu said and she expected them at this point. Like her siblings and Ohu, she didn't have much in terms of belongings and they had been dropped in the room she would be staying in before she went to explore her new home.

Tryggvi seemed happier here than in New York. He had a lot of room to roam and graze. It didn't take much to make her mount happy. Svalin was captivated by the ocean and the beach. There was nothing similar on Asgard.

When she was done exploring the grounds she returned to the main building to eat with her fellow teammates. Mister Stark had been kind enough to hire a chef, but today they had ordered pizza. Svalin had been most pleased with this choice. She had developed a fondness for the Migard food.

"Perhaps thou canst have Asleif put an enchantment on it to accomplish thy goal?"

	As if sensing her name had been mentioned, Asleif stepped out of her room, having spent the better part of the day weaving transmutation spells to put it the way she liked it (including turning the air conditioning up to levels that would likely have chilled the marrow off mortals). 	"While I enjoy a good joke as much as any," Ohu smiles, "there are two things I take very seriously. Good times... and good times with women." He gestures to the spartan bed. "This bed is hardly one which beckons women for good times. While I can certainly make any location a paradise, I would prefer to make the setting fit the occasion as much as possible." It was only through an act of willpower that Asleif resisted the urge to roll her eyes. One... particular person aside, Midgard held little fascination for her, heroics even less so. And Ohu? She did not even know what to make of this strange one.

"Do you intend to engage in these "good times with women" often, Ohu? I will need to make certain to prepare the proper ear protection if it is to be frequent."

	Asleif was halfway through the mental composition of composing a spell for micro-climate thundercell around Ohu when she stopped herself. There was little need for that indoors. "Though I doth find this "Calififornian" climate most oppressive... I find the idea of simply remaining within these falls even more so. So yes. I shalt venture out." (Reply to this)(Parent)
