Toni dropped into the passenger seat. "Now, yes, but in the meantime?"
This? This felt good. Being the sounding board to Anya's ideas, balancing out her best friend's genius with some down to Earthness. But the new powers? The new heroic identity? Were also going a long way to making her more of her own person. And she needed that too.
"It's still a good idea," she said. "Not many people could do that."
