Sammy used a good fifteen seconds of her first time out to go outside the building and take stock of the situation. She had both the laser pistol Dad gave her and her Glock, as well as the two sets of handcuffs in her belts.
She saw the suit of armor hovering outside and knew it wasn't Toni or Anya, so she let the time out go and aimed for the helmet with the laser pistol.
