If no one's objected to it, Eli has kept Thulsa Doom's staff and has been studying it the one of the rooms given to them by the king. Eli does find the idea of a trophy interesting, but moreover, they need to make sure that there won't be some backlash from destroying the weapon.
He does, however, decide to stop for a time and bathe, as his clothes are ruined. Sinking into the water, his face is grim as he considers what must come next.
