In the Land of Giants (Dawn and Grace vs. Tomorrow Woman and the Gargoyle)
Dawn was still trying to get her head wrapped around everything when the Grandmaster had teleported them to their battle sites. The first thing she was aware of was the thin air, as though they were on a mountain somewhere. The second thing she noticed was the cold, the intense, almost life-sucking cold.

She collapsed to her knees instantly, fingers fumbling for the umbrella she always kept with her now.

C'mon... don't die... don't die...

Fingers that were already freezing gripped it, stamped it upon the ground, transforming her body into that of Asleif in a flash and boom.

A body that was from the line of Frost Giants, a body far more at home in this land.

What the hell am I doing here? I'm no god. I'm no super-hero. I'm just some luckless librarian in way over her head...

Who else had come with her? She hoped to God she wasn't alone. She knew she would surely die here if she was.

	The shield held for a moment, dulling the blast somewhat, before shattering. The weakened bolt hit her head on, knocking her back and certainly hurting, but not enough to truly injure Asleif's godly form. Dawn tried to gather her wits, firing mystic bolts blindly. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Binding spell, binding spell, binding spell... how did that go again... Dawn tried to weave another spell, forming mystical chains to try and entrap the villain, but they were slow moving and not particularly strong looking. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Ooomph!" The blasts hit Dawn square on, knocking back and on her behind. She... didn't know, honestly, what kind of punishment Asleif's body could take. But she didn't want to find out. She made one last attempt with the chains. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Dawn desperately tried to put a shield in place, but couldn't split her concentration enough to control two spells well. The result was that neither received the power or control it needed, and not anywhere near as strong as it should have been. The bolt pierced her shield easily and struck her dead on, sending her flying and taking her down. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
