The Phoenix glowing brighter and getting bigger did not concern him. It only stressed the fact that she had to be dealt with. Gladiator /would/ do this. He /would/ not fail.
Even as she grabbed him the flames, he kept fighting. Beams came from his eyes and his fists kept swinging.
