And at that point, Rollerball knew fear. In a more calm state of mind, perhaps he would have made the ball spin counter clockwise along the Y axis at a speed in excess of 90 miles per hour in an attempt to break the spider web.
In this state of mind, he had a panic attack and passed out. Too bad for him.
