Eli leads Vernique outside, making sure that she has a coat or such to keep her warm. Once they are outside, he faces her and pauses a moment, then kisses her lips gently.
"I apologize for being so forward, Beautiful Flower, but I have been wanting to do that for a little while now. I did not get the chance to wish you luck before the battle, and I realized that around the time the Kangbots decided to swarm me." Eli says with a small smile.
"I know; my timing could use some work." he says.
